Testimonials
“ My 200 hour yoga teacher training with Sharon Manner and Samadhi Sun was a truly transformative experience. Almost two years later and I still refer to the texts and materials regularly. I’m still learning from this! This training opened doors and gave me a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning. There are practices I still incorporate in my daily personal practice and probably always will. Physiology, history, and a deep reverence for yoga philosophy were taught alongside thorough, safe and varied asana teaching techniques. I came through this training with confidence to step right into teaching and a hunger to continue my yoga journey for a lifetime and beyond. ”
“My journey with yoga began as a child watching my father’s daily practice. He would sit in Easy Pose, do breathing exercises and meditate. At times I’d see him doing a head stand or back bends, and I thought that he was just stretching. That was yoga to me; sit, breathe, sleep. As an adult I began to see yoga as an option of a workout, and it didn’t make too much sense to me until I met Sharon Manner. Her practice was different than what I was seeing on TV and gyms, it reminded me of how my father practiced the mind and body connection.
I changed my mind about yoga and decided to take her teacher training course with Ms. Manner. This training changed my life personally and professionally. Yes, I increased my knowledge of yoga through poses, but my personal journey went much farther. I look at my life with greater kindness and grace. I extended my teaching by taking her for training for children and adults with disabilities. I have met amazing people over the last 13 years. Today I work as a preschool teacher with students with autism and once a week we do yoga where we learn to breathe and so some fun kid-related yoga poses.
I am forever grateful for all that I have learned from Sharon, and I highly recommend her teacher trainings to anyone who wants to broaden their knowledge of yoga and self.”
